Georgianna grew up in the Indianapolis area and graduated from Carmel High School. She went on to earn a B.A. in English, as well as a Certificate in Communications, from Indiana University-Purdue University of Indianapolis. During college, Georgianna spent several years working for Rough Notes Magazine, a national insurance magazine that has been advising agents since 1878.
Georgianna attended Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. During law school, Georgianna worked as a Certified Legal Intern with the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office, as well as working as a part-time law clerk at a law firm in downtown Indianapolis. Georgianna also served on the board for Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity, first as Vice-Justice and then as Justice, while in law school. She served on the board for the Environmental Law Society, as well. Georgianna graduated from law school in May 2014, with a concentration in Environmental Law.
After law school, Georgianna began employment with an insurance broker in Carmel, Indiana, until she was sworn in to the Indiana State Bar in October 2014. She then became in-house counsel for that insurance broker and continued her employment there for over three years, focusing her practice on human resource issues, privacy law, as well as several other areas involving both the insurance and financial industries. Georgianna joined Hume Smith in October 2017, focusing her practice in civil litigation.
Georgianna currently resides in Greenwood. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and various outdoor activities, including hiking and camping.
